  1. Your report is one of the most objective. You probably, did not have a reporter on site, but instead spent time studying different media, including WEB, which helped.
The March is organized by umbrella organization :National Movement, which
connect Polish Patriots. Everybody can come. There are mostly young but also older , and families with children. The veterans are specially welcomed.
This year, there was about 100.000 participants. This annual march is traditionally interrupted by hooligans but also by police. It is obviously hated, by the Government, and Police always serves the elected officials.
Taking to account number of participants, 250 arrests is not bad.
The March is defended ( separated from Police and hooligans) by March Guard. That Guard, not Police , stopped people on the Poniatowski Bidge, allowing for separation of violent element. It is worth to mention, that the same hooligans , defended march later, when Police wanted to attack the, crowd , peacefully assembled near the National Stadium.
Situation is more complex, than just arrest of 250 people.
