Utopia is now!

The project 'Utopia is now!' will take place in Lyon on the 7-9 May.

Founded in 2011 with the support of the European Union, the European Lab Forum aims to assist, monitor and promote the evolutions of the cultural and creative sector in France and Europe that are being fuelled by digital transformation, the new economy of the creative industries and the media, the renewal of public policies, the emergence of young generations, the promotion of urban cultures, and the independence of artists and cultural enterprises.

Through a programme of conferences, debates, documentary screenings and presentations highlighting citizen initiatives, inspiring projects and hybrid innovations, each forum serves to shed light on the major political, economic, social and urban developments of our times by inviting a new generation of thinkers and citizens to join the debate.

This year’s event under the title ‘utopia is now!’ will take place in Lyon on the 7-9 May, and will use the anniversary of 1968 as the starting point for a public debate on how to build a better future for Europe.
