Anti-government rallies in Poland

The rallies against the political actions of the Law and Justice government party were staged in more than 20 cities in Poland, as well as in several cities abroad, including London, Brussels, Berlin and Tokyo. Organizers said that up to 50000 were on the march in Warsaw, while demonstrations also took place in the main cities of Poland: Wrocław (circa 2,000 people), Poznań (over 2,000 people), Bielsko-Biała (200), Lublin (500), Szczecin (over 2,000 people) and Gdańsk (over 3,000).

Krytyka Polityczna (Political Critique) is the largest Eastern European liberal network of institutions and activists. It consists of the online daily Dziennik Opinii, a quarterly magazine, publishing house, cultural centres in Warsaw, Łódź, Gdańsk and Cieszyn, activist clubs in a dozen cities in Poland (and also in Kiev and Berlin), as well as a research centre: the Institute for Advanced Study in Warsaw.
