Refugees are welcome
Nicolaus Copernicus Monument in Warsaw
Saturday, 12th of September, 12.00
We believe that it is our moral duty to help those who are running away from war and oppression, regardless of their race, nationality or religion.
Throughout history Polish people have frequently benefited from the hospitality of other countries, often considered as culturally different to us.
We are aware of the necessity of introducing long-term help and integration programs, yet we do not agree that inconvenience should be an excuse for our indifference towards hundreds of thousands of people running away from death.
Everyone is invited. Let’s show that we are the kind of society for which morality, hospitality and courage are not just empty words.
At the manifestation it will be possible to sign an open letter to Polish authorities as well as petition addressed to European leaders, both linked below
