The 2nd ECIT Summer University “Countering threats to European citizenship across borders, reconfiguring its future” will take place from August 30th to September 1st, 2017 at the Maison des Associations Internationales in Brussels and bring more than 75 participants in dialogue with key experts in the field of European citizenship and citizens rights, from civil society representatives to public authorities, from academics to active citizens. Together, they will look into the challenges and gaps of today’s European citizenship and brainstorm for a more inclusive and open citizenship for all Europeans.

We are looking for enthusiastic people living in Central and Eastern Europe, proficient in English who are deeply interested in the topic of European citizenship and citizens rights.
What does the scholarship include?
The scholarship to the Summer University is covering:
– Flight costs to and from Brussels
– Accommodation costs for 2 nights in a standard shared double room
– Registration fee to the Campus
Selected participants will make their own travel arrangements to and from Brussels and will be reimbursed upon completion of the Summer University and after sending the originals boarding passes and local transportation tickets to European Alternatives. Accommodation costs for the 2 nights and the registration fee is directly covered by European Alternatives.
